Airline and Payment Integrations

Integrations with several airlines and payment providers for a tourism platform.

Problem and purpose

A tourism platform had to connect bookings and payments with several airlines and payment providers, and keep a traceable record in high-traffic booking and payment systems.

My role and responsibility

I led the integrations with THY, Pegasus, SunExpress and GTC, and built real-time audit logging and search for the payment and booking systems.

Architecture and key decisions

• One integration per airline and payment provider behind the platform's booking and payment flow
• Real-time audit logging of payment and booking events
• Search across audit records, so any transaction can be traced
• Correctness and traceability where money moves
